On which, the American President of Nintendo, Reggie Fils-Aime wasn’t able to answer as he was unfamiliar with the platform. The fans of Virtual Boy games raised a question that whether the console was going to be available for download on the Console for the Nintendo 3DS. It was done so to reduce the risk of poor quality software appearing on the system. Nintendo president Hiroshi Yamauchi had announced among the team that to select only a few third-party developers for showing the Virtual Boy hardware prior to its official launch. The Nintendo mainly depends on the third party support and Virtual Boy Emulator didn’t get proper third party support. Among those 22 games, 19 games were released Japanese market and 14 popular games were released in North America. Unfortunately, the game had a short lifespan which led to release of only 22 games. It was just the beginning and the future plan of the company was to launch two to three per month thereafter.
Nintendo, the popular company has showcased only three games during the launch in Virtual Boy.
